Good Golly Miss MOLLY!!!

MOLLY!! NO, MOLLY!! BAD GIRL!!

If you come to my house in the near future you are likely to hear these words, often. Meet Miss Molly......

Now, before the coos get the best of you....she is the typical yellow lab puppy! Oh boy! Very spunky and needy! And she chews on EVERYTHING, including Jacob.

Our original plan was to get Jacob a puppy that will grow up with him, that he could have through his childhood and take hunting when he's older! Well, Jacob doesn't like her, or at least not yet. "She is too happy!" "Her toes are too big!"

When she jumps up on him she knocks him over and claws him to death. She is nibbler biter and has very sharp little puppy teeth! So far her favorite things to chew on besides Jacob, is the carpet and any of the rugs in the house. She is also quite fond of a Winnie The Pooh pillow that Jacob got for his birthday. Any chance she gets to steal that and run with it, she does! She also loves his cars just as much as he does, which makes him quite bitter. As of now they are NOT friends, but I am almost positive that within a few months...they will be best pals.

Scooter is also having a rather interesting time with this new pup. She is very playful and full of energy and well, lets face it Scooter is just not into it at all. He has the same basket of toys that he has had for about 2 years and they are all in perfect condition. Now that basket clearly belongs to Molly. She put her claim on those toys the first few hours in the house and they are now scattered all over the place!

Jay has been lucky and only had to spend one night, due to working out of town, with her howling and barking at the top of her lungs all.night.long. But he is coming back home tonight and he is on doggie daddy duty big time. I sure hope he is well rested.

She reminds me of "Marley" from "Marley and Me". Just the girlie version! I will be sure to keep you up to date with her progress....oh Molly!
