Do you have a project or mulitple projects going on in your nest?
It seems that we always have a construction zone going on at our house. I will be glad when we get it the way we want it and I am not staying up til the wee hours of the morning painting, decorating, etc.
We have lived in our house a litle over a year now and the white walls have final caved in on me. Not to mention that white walls with 2 dogs and a toddler are not quite the greatest combo. And we aren't just talking any ol' white paint. We are talking about the cheapest, builder grade, flat white paint. The kind that leaves oil marks from your hand if you touch the wall. I bet you have a fantastic picture of what my house looks like about right now, eh?
Really it's not that bad, well, yes it is. For the whole first year I felt like my poor husband carried around the paint pale and a paintbrush to constantly cover up the dings and pings in the walls. It was shortly after the first bowl of spaghetti went flying off the high chair and onto the wall that I decided to also get out a paintbrush. That has since turned into multiple paint brushes, multiple new colors, and multiple projects going at one time.
We started with the master bedroom and bathroom, then Jacob's big boy room, Jacob's bathroom, and now the playroom. All relatively smaller projects than tackling the living room/entry way/kitchen/dinning areas, or so I thought.
My goal for this week is to take pictures of all the progress and make lists of things in each room that still need to be done. I have yet to completely finish any of the rooms that I have started and it has driven me crazy long enough. I WILL NOT start another room until all of the rooms I have already started are completely finished and revealed to you!
Be looking for updates starting next week on each room and project with pictures, paint colors, etc.
We have a lot to reveal! Our house is starting to look very, very different from what it did a year ago!
Happy Painting!
