"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord..."

Today was amazing! Our God is so very good!

I have watched my parents "grow old" together for the last 20 years of my life. Most of that time I was a small child and don't recall all the details, what I do recall are the Saturday mornings I woke up to the smell of hot cinnamon rolls or sausage and biscuits; the unknown of the topic for conversation at the dinner table; the laugh, the love, the joy of growing up in a home where both my mom and dad were just as much in love today as they were over 20 years ago. Seeing how they worked together as a team, and they were always by each others sides no matter what....I have that now, praise God.

I have someone now that in 20 years I want Jacob to say "Thanks Jay for being the man you are to my mother and for helping raise me, even though you didn't "have" to, thanks for being my dad!" We have the relationship that I want my son to grow up and adore. I have the family I have always dreamed of having and now I am getting the house the house I have always dreamed about....very soon.

....A house that we can grow old in, our kids can grow up, we can make many many memories for all the years to come....Oh praise be to God for all the things he is doing in our life!

Praying all works out the way I want it to and God has this in my plans, I am ready for my family to be together every day, day in and day out. What a happy home and a happy heart, for a happy girl...
