We found the house of our dreams; not really looking to buy but dreaming about the future. Well, the future is a lot closer than we thought, and looks really bright for us. All 3 of us! Friday afternoon Jay and I went looking around at houses in Forney, just looking at the area. We have talked about settling down in Forney several times and have been weighing the pros and cons. The pros definitely outweigh the cons! So Forney it is!
Here are the pros:
- Far enough from the traffic of the big city, but not too far away
- Excellent schools
- New business
- Taxes are affordable
- Jacob can stay in the same school he is in now until he starts kindergarten
- My parents live 15 minutes away, therefore help is always around the corner
- The cost of living is affordable for a young family just starting out, etc.
We have decided to quite talking about it and actually start this process. We both know this is where we want to be and what we want for our family! We are going to see the realtors and home builders in the subdivision that we liked this week...hopefully they will give us some great news and we will be home owners by the end of the year*!!
