"For We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight"....2 Corinthians 5:7

Forgiveness.

Everyday at work, I have Kari Jobe's station on Pandora Radio, coming through my computer speakers. Yesterday I heard these words....these words that would spark and interesting debate in my head and my heart.
"Everyone needs compassion
A love that's never Failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
A kindness of a Savior
...
The Hope of Nations......

He is mighty to save!"
The word forgiveness struck me like a load of bricks. "Everyone needs forgiveness" Everyone? And then I prayed.
God forgives, everyone. He forgives me daily. He wraps us all in his arms, hold on for dear life, and never, NEVER lets us down. How does he do it? How does he forgive us for anything and everything? How can we live and be more forgiving? forgiveness.

I need to be in prayer about this. For love is not the way we feel or a simple emotion, yet it is the way we behave and treat people, regardless of how they treat us. I have an ongoing debate in my heart with how to forgive people, particular people in fact. How dare they treat me the way they did? How dare them say such things about me, they don't know the stories?....And then comes the thought of, how dare I treat them in that same hate-centered, lack of love, lack of respect, ungrateful, ungracious, unforgiving way? What if God never forgave me? I would be .....well, I don't have to think about that because I serve a mighty God, an all forgiving God.

I.need.to. forgive. period.
Praying for forgiveness of an unhealthy feeling toward those particular beings. They are people, they make mistakes, they will come around, they will. There will be a day.

When your heart hurts, be in prayer. When you loose something/someone you love, be in prayer. When people forsake you, be in prayer. When you don't really know or understand, be in prayer. And above all forgive through prayer, those that hurt you when your hurting, when your not hurting, when you have lost, when you are forsaken.

Luke 6:36-37 "Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven"

Matthew 5:44 "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
