"For We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight"....2 Corinthians 5:7

oh.my.Christmas.

Lights on the house are beaming, Christmas tree is glowing, fireplace is roaring, stockings are hanging, s'mores are made, presents are wrapped.....it's the best time of year!

Christmas means so much to me. Cheer, laughter, family, friends, love, Jesus, traditions....

This year is our first Christmas in our home. I am so grateful I was blessed this year with a house big enough for my family to come stay for Christmas. New traditions will be made this year and I am so very happy for the many new memories that will be made. I am thankful that my family is willing to make the changes and allow us to be at home this year. I can't wait to spend the day with a fire blazing, Jacob playing, us all in our PJ's all day, mamas chicken spaghetti, breakfast together, cookies for Santa.......

I proposed a new tradition at Thanksgiving and I was excited to see the excitement from my family to take on this new challenge. For many years my grandmother always bought us Christmas PJ's, matching of course, and gave them to us on Christmas Eve. We wore them proudly for Christmas morning. After my great-grandmother passed and we begin doing Christmas at my parents house, my mother took on the job of getting us matching PJ's for Christmas morning. Now that our family dynamic has changed, I figured why not start a new PJ tradition. We are all in charge of our own families matching Christmas PJ's, we are too see who can be the most creative!! My sister-in-law is very competitive and the words barely left my mouth before she was on the Internet searching for hers and my brothers PJ's. I have a great idea for my family but I can't find them anywhere, almost time to revert to plan B. The funny thing is that I just know my parents will out do us all! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

This really is the most magical time of the year!!!
