As I walked through the doors I immediately became overwhelmed with the spirit of our God. Oh, how great He is. The candlelit room was glowing with His glory. As we worshiped through song, testimony, prayer, and grace, emotions ran high, spirits were lifted, God was at work. Every soul was touched, every heart was filled, every eye was opened, hands were lifted, praise was given. Praise to a God that no matter how deep our valley's get or how dry our desert becomes....He.never.forsakes.us.
So what is intimacy? I share with you a video that was shown this night and left me with chills down my body, my jaw on the ground and tear stained cheeks.
Incredible would be an understatement but the only adjective that comes to mind. Very deep, very touching, very emotional.
One of the ladies said at the end of the night "I don't know about y'all but I feel like I have just been on the best date ever!" It truly was an amazing night.
Tomorrow night the men of our church gather for a "kick-off" to the men's ministry. I have been praying all week for God to work in the hearts of our men just like he did in the women. That they leave with the Christ like heart to serve as fathers, bothers, husbands, friends. I have been praying especially for my Jay. I pray God works in his heart, deep in his soul, that he comes back to me ready to take on this chapter with me. That God continues to build us both and our walks become greater and greater so that our children will know Him, truly deeply know Him, love Him, seek Him.
My prayer will continue....
