Family Adventure Day |Canton, Tx|

Last Saturday we took had a fun filled family day, something we don't get to do very often. Just the 3 of us on a lovely little Canton, TX  adventure.

Our first stop, Yesterland Farm. What an awesome place! If you have never been, I highly recommend it. There is something for everyone! There are pumpkins and Christmas trees everywhere. A giant corn maze, several mechanical rides for kids of all ages, and a tractor ride that takes you through the entire property. There are fun activities like duck races, pig races, pumpkin chunkin', and corn shooting. The entire farm smells like fall, not like a farm. You can pack a picnic or even eat there. The smells coming from the grill were mouth watering. So much to do in fact we didn't get a chance to do it all and are really hoping to go back next month! I had never been to Yesterland Farm and I had heard so much about it, I was so glad we went to see what all the hype was about. This will be part of our families fall traditions from now on!

 

We then stopped at the world famous Dairy Palace for burgers and ice cream. What a treat! I love that place! Their burgers are so delicious and there is just something special they do with go ol' Blue Bell ice cream and a cone that will knock your socks off! You simply cannot go to Canton, TX and not have Dairy Palace.

After a fun filled adventure through Yesterland Farm and a full tummy from Dairy Palace, that was about all Jacob could handle for one day, he didn't make it out of the parking lot before we heard him snoring in the backseat with ice cream running down his face!

Next weekends adventure....the Dallas Zoo!
