"For We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight"....2 Corinthians 5:7

God is preparing us a great kingdom, this I know!

Another sad goodbye....
Why is it always the good ones that have to go first? Well, the only justification I can give is this. God is preparing us a great kingdom and we know this from what we have read in the Bible. He can not build this great kingdom without the "good ones". Although, we don't always understand it and we are often times felt lost and sad to see someone go, especially the good ones, God needs them. They are working together to prepare us the great Kingdom of Glory!

Tomorrow evening, parents, family, fiance, friends both old and new, teachers, co-workers, and students will gather to say one final goodbye to Kyle King. From grade school to graduation Kyle was a friend to many and had an incredible heart. He was one of the most athletic young men I have ever known, as another good friend from school stated he had muscles when he was 3! His genuine kind soul and ever so bright personality is the reason we all loved him. He had a bag full of antics he used to keep us laughing through school and for several years after. His life was cut short much too soon when he "drove his car to heaven" as his sweet nephew says.

After graduation many of us took different paths and we have lived our lives as though we would reunite together again at our 10 year reunion and never thought this would happen. We have all spend the last week in shock and questioning; regretting that we didn't stay closer or spend more time. Asking God to give us just one more day with him. Fortunately we will all have our day with him again, we will all be able to tell him face to face in the glory of God what he meant to us.

This has taught us all to love and live for tomorrow is not a given. Tell those you love what they mean to you, call an old friend, and pray without ceasing.

Rest peacefully Kyle! Your friendship to me in high school and for years after is one I will treasure for years to come. Your antics will keep me laughing on my hardest days. Your bright smile and kind soul will warm our hearts forever. We are all given strength knowing you were a man of God and you are in a better place. Watch over us and we all continue our journey here on Earth. I pray comfort and peace for everyone during this difficult time. Until we see you again, rest in peace sweet friend, may your light keep shinning bright!
